The Betty Ford Alpine Gardens website was redesigned to help shift perception of the gardens among the local community, as well as the horticulture community. It was critical that the gardens present itself as a serious place of science and research, dedicated to education and the preservation of native alpine plants and the alpine ecosystem. It was important that the beauty of the gardens come through in a digital experience, but also that the website design be a platform to showcase scholarly content, garden events, visitor information and also demonstrate the importance of the gardens in the local community.
