Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is one of only three botanical gardens in the world dedicated to the science of plants that can survive in the alpine tundra, above the treeline. These plants play an important role in water conservation, prevention of soil erosion, climate change, and the survival of the fragile ecosystems found in high altitude regions.

Shifting Perceptions


The “Save a Life” brand campaign was created to help Betty Ford Alpine Gardens solicit memberships and increase donor engagement. This campaign was created to raise awareness of the Gardens mission and to help increase donations to support efforts. Most visitors to the gardens are unaware of the important scientific work being done related to conservation and preservation of the alpine environment and native alpine plants. This campaign features the heroes of the alpine, the unique plants that are native to the areas above treeline, with graphics that show the plant’s relationship and role in the greater ecosystem.

This campaign was created to raise awareness of the Gardens mission.

Elevating a Brand

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is one of only three botanical gardens in the world dedicated to the science of plants that can survive in the alpine tundra, above the treeline. These plants play an important role in water conservation, prevention of soil erosion, climate change, and the survival of the fragile ecosystems found in high altitude regions. 

In 2021, the organization began pursuing a more aggressive strategy to broaden awareness about the mission of the organization with the ultimate goal of shifting perception to enable the organization to step onto a larger national and global stage, to continue to fund important research and critical conservation work.

Based on audience and cultural trend research, we helped establish a new brand positioning and communications platform that would help elevate their reputation as a serious science center, focused on important research work that is critical to maintaining a healthy and well world. 

Our scope of work includes brand strategy, brand platform development, content strategy, website design, traditional and digital advertising, email design, collateral design, PR and experiential marketing.
