Account Supervisor
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Blackbird Agency is seeking a dynamic, high-performing, experienced and dedicated Account Supervisor to join our team. This person should possess a clear understanding of strategy, honed client service skills and a passion for innovative marketing solutions, brand development and channel marketing. We value client service professionals who are passionate about growing our existing accounts while proactively pursuing new accounts and identifying roadblocks and obstacles to increasing business.
The ideal candidate will be innovative enough to suggest tailored solutions to common account problems. Dedication to growing the business and facilitating smoother connections between clients and the agency is a must.
A successful Account Supervisor should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with the ability to think critically and independently. He or she will be a skilled communicator and presenter who can find the best fit between team, client and product. The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, detail-orientated and passionate about client relations with a core focus on enhancing the overall client experience for Hill Aevium.
The candidate will be someone who goes above and beyond to create winning client partnerships that drive both revenue and new customer acquisition.
ACCOUNT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal teammates to create a better client experience.
Ensure client satisfaction, delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis through the development of a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts and client stakeholders.
Experience in understanding and anticipating client needs.
Thinking critically and independently to find solutions to client needs, problems, issues or opportunities that can make a meaningful business impact.
Managing the regular day-to-day client activities in collaboration with company executives and marketing channel owners.
Clearly communicate the progress of weekly/monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
Create client account plans and analyze consumer needs by developing innovative strategies and analyzing data to find trends.
In addition, the Account Supervisor will be able to successfully and competently:
Understand strategic development to meet client goals and objectives.
Learn operations for each client.
Evaluate current operations and identify workflow optimization.
Explore ways to improve process and develop recommendations to create efficiencies within the team on day-to-day activities.
Adopt and improve the company’s project management tools.
Develop customized management plans to highlight recommendations for improvements and create action plans for each client.
Lead team calls with clients as required.
Capture actions across departments and follow up on project management/account management as required.
Unearth new sales opportunities through networking.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices, including digital marketing, advertising, brand development and design.
YOUR BACKGROUND QUALIFICATION SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:
5+ years of marketing experience with agency background.
Agency experience required.
A deep understanding of marketing and business with a thorough knowledge of brand strategy, website development, marketing tools and tactics, measurement and analytics, content management, physical marketing, digital marketing and internet technology.
Enthusiastic, passionate, independent critical thinker.
Outstanding time-management skills.
Adheres to deadlines.
Excellent project management skills.
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity who is detail-orientated and an effective communicator.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
Must be able to problem-solve with excellent listening and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal, leadership and decision-making skills.
Diplomacy and professionalism with an emphasis on execution and delivery.
Knowledge of Keynote, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, Slack, CRMs and project management tools such as Asana, Trello, etc.
Proven experience in Account and Client Services.
Demonstrable business acumen and an understanding of business sales and marketing processes with a financial, data and analytical focus.
The drive to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
Proven ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects while paying strict attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
College degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
